Summary
If you've ever ended a day feeling like nothing went according to plan, like you dropped every ball you were trying to juggle, or like you somehow failed at taking care of yourself even though you tried, this episode is for you.
In this episode, I'm sharing a very honest heart-to-heart about those heavy days when motivation is low, energy is gone, and life feels overwhelming. I walk you through three grounding reminders I personally come back to when I feel stretched thin or disappointed in myself, along with simple, practical ways to steady yourself in the moment and keep moving forward without guilt or pressure.
This conversation is about perspective, grace, and learning how to stay connected to your goals without tying your worth to perfect days or productivity.
Here is what you will learn:
• Why one hard day, week, or even month does not undo the progress you've already built
• How unrealistic expectations quietly create feelings of failure
• The difference between failing and simply being human
• Why your worth has nothing to do with your output or consistency
• Simple grounding tools to use when you feel overwhelmed
• How to refocus on your deeper "why" during tough seasons
• A gentle reminder for moms navigating survival-mode days

| 0:37.4 | I'm so glad that you're here today. I want to just have a heart to heart with you about something that doesn't get talked about enough. Those days where nothing goes right and you feel like you're barely holding it together. The days where you wake up with the best intentions, you're going to crush your workout, you're going to hit your macros, you're going to get your work done, you're going to be present with your kids, your family, maybe even meal prep for the week. You got this whole plan in your head and of how kind of the day is going to go. And then just life happens. Maybe your baby was up all night. Maybe work through you a curveball. Maybe you got stuck in traffic, how to fight with your significant other, your family member, whatever it is. You felt just completely drained for no reason that you can pinpoint. The workout didn't happen. You're eating whatever is quick and convenient. You snap at someone you love. You go to bed just feeling like you failed out literally everything. Here's the thing. These days don't just happen once in a while. Sometimes they can happen multiple days in a row. Sometimes it feels like an entire week or month where you're just barely |

| 1:45.1 | something a little bit more personal. And these are the three specific reminders I personally |
| 1:49.6 | keep coming back to when I feel like I'm just dropping all the balls. Even though I teach this stuff, |
| 1:54.8 | even though I know better, I still have those days where I need to remind myself of these truths. |
| 1:59.5 | And I have a feeling that if these are the ones |
| 2:02.1 | that I come back to over and over again, they might be exactly what you need to hear today as well. |
| 2:07.2 | So I'm not going to give you some fluffy, you know, toxic positivity nonsense. Just think positive or |
| 2:13.0 | everything happens for a reason. Instead, I'm going to be sharing three real grounding truths that have |
| 2:17.6 | helped me the most in those moments where I just feel like I'm failing at everything. Before we dive in, |
| 2:23.1 | though, I want to share this review. She gave a five-star review and to Julie is such a calm person |
| 2:27.7 | and inspiring. During the school year, I look forward to getting to work early to get my stuff |

Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to send in this review, whether you're at work or whether you're just hanging out at home, you're cleaning, you're hanging with your baby, whatever you're doing, you're in the car driving. I love hearing where you guys are tuning in from. So you could scoge over to Apple Podcasts and labor rating an review, and I would love to know where you're tuning in from. So you can just let me know, say, hey, I'm tuning in from, you know, Colorado Springs, Colorado, or I'm here in Charlotte, North Carolina, wherever you are, I would love to know. So you could scoot you over to Apple Podcasts. And first, make sure your subscribes that you never miss an episode. They release on Mondays and Thursdays. | 3:30.1 | one hard day one week or one month does not erase your progress and I want to start here because |
| 3:36.3 | this is a big one when you have a day where nothing goes according to plan when you you skip your workout, you eat off track, you feel like you're just completely derailing. It's so easy to spiral into this all or nothing thinking. You just start telling yourself, well, I already messed up today, so I might as well just give up for the week.
