My name is Sarah Turnie and this is Voices for Justice.

In the last episode we discussed my father's upbringing, the potential abuse he and a sibling

suffered, and his long history of having inappropriate and sometimes aggressive relationships

with women and young girls.

And we heard that awful audio of him interviewing four very young girls and calling them pretty.

I left you with my parents and siblings driving off to start their new lives as a blended family.

In this episode we will be talking about Alyssa's early life, our mother, and this new family dynamic.

We will explore what it was like for Alyssa in those early years and how our father treated

her so differently from the rest of the children.

And we will also be exploring the extremely suspicious circumstances surrounding my mother's death

and my father's possible involvement.

I will be introducing you to some new witnesses in this episode.
