Dozens of US troops have been deployed to Cyprus

as tensions ramp up between Israel and Iran-backed

militant group Hezbollah. That's according to four U.S. officials. They say plans to

evacuate U.S. citizens from Lebanon are in place if tensions create a wider Middle East war.

Cyprus played a key role in helping evacuate foreign nationals from Lebanon during Israel's

war with Hezbollah in 2006. The United Nations says more than 90,000 people

are now displaced in Lebanon as Israel's airstrikes continue. Israel intercepted a

missile Hezbollah fired near Tel Aviv today, which Israeli forces

say is the first time a missile launched by the group has reached so close to the

city. This as another top Israeli general, says the military is preparing for a possible ground
