Universities across the country continue to crack down on pro-Palestinian protesters.

At the University of Wisconsin-Madison this morning, law enforcement began moving

protesters out of an encampment and dismantling tents.

Video from CNN affiliate W.M TV shows clashes between police and protesters.

And the campus police department confirms at least 34 people were arrested,

though it's unclear how many are affiliated with the school.

While over at Columbia, campus was quiet this morning after days of demonstrations.

Police arrested at least 300 people overnight at Columbia and the City College combined,

dismantled the protest encampment, and removed protesters occupying a university building.

Columbia's president said she asked the police to intervene, saying that a,

drastic escalation of months of protest activity had pushed the school to the brink.

Tulane University also said it had cleared demonstrators from campus and that police

had arrested 14 additional protesters including two Tulane students. Now

while separately, UCLA cancelled classes today after clashes overnight turned violent between pro-Palestinian

protesters and counter-protesters, some of whom were pro-Israel.
