House Minority Leader Hakim Jeffries, who has said he supports Biden's bid

told his colleagues in a letter this morning that he met with the president

Thursday night at the White House after Biden's news conference on the sidelines

of the NATO summit in Washington. A person familiar with the meeting says Jeffries, quote,

and didn't offer Biden his endorsement.

But Biden vows to stay in the race.

Biden is campaigning in the battleground state of Michigan today
