Welcome to How Leaders Lead. I'm Kula Callahan here to bring you another edition of three more

questions with David Novak. These are the episodes where we break down the conversation that David has

with the previous week's guest. And this conversation is going to be a fun one. We're recording it before the Super Bowl, but it will air the day after the Super Bowl.

And the guest that we're talking about is a three-time Super Bowl champion.

His name is Harris Barton, and the guy is a legend.

Yeah, all pro, offensive linemen, you know, protecting Joe Montana and Steve Young,

and a tremendous business person as well. And, you know, I just love this podcast. And it's perfectly

time because it goes right into the Super Bowl this week. And we can't wait to see who comes out

the victor, Kansas City or Philadelphia, and I'm betting on Kansas City because I went to high school in Kansas City. I'm a big cheese fan, and how can you take out Patrick Mahomes in a game like this? Don't think it's going to happen. I don't know, David. The only reason I'm an Eagles fan is because of Jalen Hertz and

Devonte Smith because they went to Alabama. Yeah, well, that's one of the reasons why I don't like them. Okay, well, perfect. We'll battle each other then, too. I do like Sequin Barclay. I mean, he's unbelievable. I'd like to see him get a Super Bowl. These players have all come so far. It's, it's almost sad to see a loser, you know, because they really aren't losers. They're champions that

have gotten into so far. It's, it's almost sad to see a loser, you know, because they really aren't losers. They're champions that have gotten into the biggest game. And, you know, I can't wait to watch it. But like right now, my heartache's for Josh Allen. I mean, the guy continually plays so well, but can't win the big one. Heartache. All the pundits attack him and it's just sickening.

As we said earlier, Harris won three Super Bowls with the 49ers.

And in the episode, he talks about just how much pressure players face during that big game. You know, if you drop a pass or fumble the ball, that mistake is with you for really the rest of your career. David, what kind of coaching would you give a player or a teammate who makes a mistake that's so public

that has everybody talking about it? So say that you were coaching Dalton Kincaid who dropped

that fourth down pass from Josh Allen in the AFC championship game a couple weeks ago.

What do you say to him to get over something like that?

I would say, number one, you've got to realize how good you are. I mean, you're one of the
