Hey everyone, this is Mary Demuth and this is Pray Every Day where I pray through the Bible

verse by verse with joy and intention and all the good things.

Super grateful to have you here.

I just want to pray for someone who is overstressed.

Lord Jesus, I pray for someone listening today, and maybe that's 100% of us.

Maybe I'm praying for myself too. But Lord, maybe there's just too many tasks in the day and too much

work to be done and anxiety about money or trying to provide for yourself or whatever it is, Lord,

I don't know. Maybe it's overstressed from broken relationships or prodigal people in our lives.

I don't know.

But you know, and you are the God who loves to enter in to our brokenness, into our stress,

into our fear, into our worry.

And so I pray for your peace just to surround my friend and give him or her the gift

of your presence. And I also pray that you would supply some friends that would come alongside them

in their stress and just alleviate them. Give them a place to process their pain and worry. I pray

in Jesus' name, amen.

All right, I'm going to be reading from the third book of John, third John, and it also can be called

Third John one, but it's just its own whole little entity written by John. And I'm going to read this

in the world English Bible, third John.

The elder to Gaeus the beloved, whom I love in truth. Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all

things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers. For I rejoice greatly when brothers came and testified about your truth,

even as you walk in truth. I have no greater joy than this to hear about my children walking

in truth. Beloved, you do a faithful work in whatever you accomplish for those who are brothers and strangers. They have
