Hi friend, this is Mary Demuth and this is Pray Every Day where I pray through the Bible verse by verse.

Super happy to have you here and grateful to have the privilege of being able to pray for you.

It is a joy and a privilege.

I love reading the Bible and often when I'm recording these, I might come to the day or come to the moment, just discouraged

and having a hard time. And then I read the Bible and it just helps me. It changes my perspective,

changes my outlook. And then just being able to pray for you is such a joy for me. So thank you

for being a recipient of prayer.

That is, you know, it is a humbling thing to be prayed for. And I just thank you for your

humbleness in doing that. Okay, today I'm reading Second John, or you could call it Second

John one, but it's just its own chapter by itself. So 2 John in the world English

Bibles is written by John, and this is what it says. The elder to the chosen lady and her

children whom I love in truth, and not only I, but also those who know the truth, for the truth's

sake, which remains in us, and it will be with us forever. Grace, mercy, and peace,

be with us from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth

and love. I rejoice greatly that I have found some of your children walking in truth,

even as we have been commanded by the Father.

Now I beg you, dear lady, not as though I wrote to you a new commandment, but that which we had

from the beginning that we love one another. This is love that we should walk according to his

commandments. This is the commandment, even as you heard from the beginning, that you should walk in it.

For many deceivers have gone out into the world, but those who don't confess that Jesus Christ came in the flesh.

This is the deceiver and the Antichrist. Watch yourselves, that we don't lose the things which we have accomplished,

but that we receive a full reward. Whoever transgresses and doesn't remain in the teachings
