0:44.3	And by this I mean you'll probably need to say things like, excuse me, do you speak English?

1:11.6	The verb to speak in Italian is
1:15.6	Parlare.
1:17.6	Now in English we don't change the verb much
1:20.6	depending on who's doing the action.
1:23.6	So when we say, I speak, you speak, we speak, they speak, the verb stays the same. And it doesn't
1:32.5	matter that the verb usually stays the same in English because we know who's doing the action
1:37.6	from the words we, you or they. But in Italian, we don't normally use the words for I, you, we etc. Most of the time we just
1:49.5	use the verb. This means that when we have a verb like parlare to speak we have to
1:56.8	change the endings for each person so we know who's doing the action.
