When I was a youth, I used to be very impatient with other drivers.

I thought they were rude, disrespectful, and a challenge for me. I didn't enjoy having to deal with all those rude drivers out there.

But as I was working on myself, I didn't like the negative experience I had with other people.

One of the final things that happened to me that said,

I need to change was,

one Christmas while I was in graduate school, I was at the mall buying some gifts for my family and friends.

And this person pulled right out in front of me and I had to slam on my brakes in order not to hit him and though he pulled

right out in front of me he had to immediately stop because there are so many cars.

I got on my car I went up to him to talk to him about it, and he rolled up his windows and locked his car, and he wouldn't even look at me.

I realized later that he was afraid, but I just wanted to talk to him about it and try to figure out what was going on.

I was so frustrated and upset at him that I'd bang the top of his car with my fist and put a dent in his car.

I realized that I needed to change because other drivers were making me

upset and it wasn't good, it wasn't good for me and it wasn't good for them. So what did I do to change myself? I realize that these

other drivers were my teachers. They were doing what they were doing. I was upset because of something was wrong inside of me that I needed to change.

I drove with other people and they didn't get upset when they were driving.

So I started to really look at it and found in this situation

the answer. When I was in a hurry, as I was at Christmas because I was trying to buy presents

and hurry up and get things and get back to school and study.

When I'm in a hurry, I get impatient.

So if I slow down, I'm much more patient.

And I learned that by slowing down and not being in a hurry and giving
