| 1:25.0 | Gary Leon Ridgeway was born on February 18th, 1949 in Salt Lake City, Utah. |
| 1:32.0 | He was the middle child of Mary Steinman and Thomas Ridgeway's three sons. |
| 1:36.0 | His older brother was named Gregory and younger brother named Thomas. |
| 1:40.0 | When he was 11, the family moved from Utah to Washington State, where he spent his early childhood by a Seattle-specific highway in an impoverished neighborhood near C-TAC airport. |
| 1:51.0 | Gary's home life was troubled to say the least. Relatives have described his mother Mary as bossy and overbearing. |
| 1:59.0 | And with that being said, Gary witnessed more than one violent argument between his parents. |
| 2:05.0 | Throughout Gary's childhood, he struggled with wetting the bed, which continued into his teenage years. |
| 2:11.0 | He even wet the bed as late as 13 years old. And as a child every time he wet the bed, his mother made him take a bath. |
