Before we get into Gary Ridgeway, I just wanted to give a word of caution.

Gary Leon Ridgeway was born on February 18th, 1949 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

He was the middle child of Mary Steinman and Thomas Ridgeway's three sons.

His older brother was named Gregory and younger brother named Thomas.

When he was 11, the family moved from Utah to Washington State, where he spent his early childhood by a Seattle-specific highway in an impoverished neighborhood near C-TAC airport.

Gary's home life was troubled to say the least. Relatives have described his mother Mary as bossy and overbearing.

And with that being said, Gary witnessed more than one violent argument between his parents.

Throughout Gary's childhood, he struggled with wetting the bed, which continued into his teenage years.

He even wet the bed as late as 13 years old. And as a child every time he wet the bed, his mother made him take a bath.
