How easy are you to offend?

How often do you hear people say, oh man, the president in that speech, he offended me,

or someone put a comment on Facebook.

I was just offended by that.

Or that person just ignored me. How offensive. Or I was just offended by that. Or that person, you know, just ignored me. How

offensive. Or I didn't get the credit. You know, I'm offended by that. I'm offended by what you

said at the meeting. We just live in this age of offenses. And first, I want to give you some good

news. I hope you see the possibility in this.

But number one, stop giving people so much credit. No one can offend you without your consent.

You have to choose to take debate. You have to choose to take offense. No one can rip your head open, shove in an offense, all right, and cause you to step out of that zone.

And so why are you giving people so much power over your life to hijack your focus,

to get you out of your zone, to make you less effective, to turn you into a victim by choosing

to be offended by every little thing? And some people, that's what it is. It's every little thing.

In fact, I've become convinced.

Some people go through life, they get up in the morning.

I mean, go through life with a chip on their shoulder looking, looking for reasons to be offended.

Just, just daring somebody, like, to offend And you know, in my, in my book,
