| 0:07.8 | Hello everyone and welcome back to On the Men. My name is Matt Willis and we are doing a solo |
| 0:11.7 | episode today about books that changed my life. Before we get started, we are going to do my |
| 0:17.1 | gratitude list and I am going to think of three things I'm grateful for. By the way, I'm loving everyone that's sending me their gratitude list. If you can keep doing that, I love it. You know, I might start putting mine up on Instagram daily. I was doing that for a while and it seemed to be a good thing. So maybe I'll start doing that again. Maybe I'll start filming it in the morning. But I love it when |
| 0:38.0 | you send me yours, you know, because I get a lot from it. Right. Today I'm grateful for being back in my |
| 0:45.7 | bed. I spent a month in Ibiza and we had this amazing place. We're very lucky to be there. I was very |
| 0:50.9 | grateful to be in this incredible place in Ibiza. But the bed was |
| 0:55.3 | horrible. It was really hard and it was horrible. I had a bad neck because I didn't bring a |
| 1:02.4 | pillow with me and I didn't have the best sleep out there. So I'm really, really pleased to be back |
| 1:07.6 | in my bed. I have a little, a a little, a little, uh, Christmas present for my |
| 1:13.1 | wife, which was a, it's something called an eight sleep, which is basically like, um, uh, it's like a |
| 1:18.8 | mattress cover that goes on and it keeps you at a certain temperature and it tracks your sleep. |
| 1:22.7 | I used to wear this ring that used to track my sleep. I'm a bit obsessed by sleep |
| 1:26.1 | because I have been notoriously bad at |
| 1:29.0 | all my life and this eight sleep keeps me at a certain temperature which apparently supposed to |
| 1:34.1 | help me sleep better. But I don't always sleep great and last night had a really great night's |
| 1:39.0 | sleep in my bed and I'm very, very grateful for it. What else am I grateful for today? I'm grateful at the moment to be working with my wife. You know, it's a joy. You know, I love it. You know, people were like, oh, what's it going to be like working together? And I was a bit like, oh, I hope it's all right. And it's bloody brilliant. I love it. I love hanging out with her. She's my favourite person. And I get to work with her, you know, which doesn't really feel like work. You know, it's a real, real easy, kind of like awesome thing that we do. So I'm really enjoying that and I'm very grateful for it. I am very grateful for everyone that helps with on the mend. You know, this is, |
| 2:19.5 | um, this is not just me. This is like there's quite a few people involved and you know who you are. |
| 2:25.1 | And I really, really am grateful for everybody who works on it with me because I am very badly |
| 2:32.0 | organized. I am, I'm not good at admin. I'm not good at admin. |
| 2:36.5 | I'm not good at getting anything organized. |
