Today's story features one of the most interesting groupings of characters in the Bible.

In the mix is a soon to be king, currently on the the run a rich man who says and does whatever

he feels like and a brilliant woman who is thrust into a life or death situation.

We're of course talking about the story of David, Abigail, and Nabel.

This isn't one of the more well-known top two or three stories with King David.

This is like, you know how everyone loves saved by the bell and we know of and we tolerated

saved by the bell to college years?

We did. But did you know there was a prequel to say by the bell?

Really? It was called Good Morning Miss Bliss and it follows a young Zach Morris in middle school.

Okay.

This is the good morning Miss Bliss of David's stories.

It gives us an insight into his early leadership,

his early thinking, and we kind of see him

before he becomes the big King David that we all know in love.

So let's let's get into it. I'm ready for it Todd are you ready? I can't wait.

All right well Well here we go. Scene one. David who? David's life is complicated. Born the son of a shepherd. He spent his early days tending sheep living in Israel under the leadership of King Saul.

And that king, King Saul, had been chosen by God himself, but soon enough the king's heart was turned from the lord and that resulted in

disobedience
