So my wife and I have a tradition that is very different than normal tradition.

We both get what's it called sad, that seasonal, effective disorder, something like that, where

the lack of daylight really affects our mood and it's something we have to push ourselves

to be active.

So there's something people do so much in the spring by tradition that we do during

the shorter days.

We decide to go room by room in our house when it's not as much fun to be outside when

it's dark early and all that.

And we go through stuff and if we have not used it in the prior year, we decide to either

sell it, give it away or recycle it.

So every week we have a pile of stuff that either I take to donate, like recently I donated

a lot of books that we had read before, they're not important to us anymore.

And I took them to a book donation bin and donated the books.

And then I've made trip after trip to both Goodwill and Salvation Army to donate stuff.

And then my wife has these sights she loves to sell things to plus sell things through

plus consignment shops that she goes to for clothing.
