You know, Tom, I had a bad feeling going in.

It feels like the script for playing Florida in Gainesville plays out that way every single time.

We get an early lead. We blow said lead. I'm left frustrated by the

sheer number of arms that Florida has that throw 97 to 100 miles per hour by way of comparison

to how few of those arms we have.

And it reminds me every time when that game plays out that way,

that we don't recruit well.

We are not evaluating and recruiting well from a pitching staff standpoint.

And that's because, to me, they have a philosophy issue.

It's stark contrast to watch those two programs. And it's not just those two programs.

You can name the top five teams in the SEC. I watch a lot of college baseball.

You watch the top five teams in the SEC and you watch Florida State and you go,

why do we throw a gazillion breaking

balls? Why are we always trying to trick people? Why do we not recruit enough arms that will

throw the ball past people? They lead and dictate with the fastball in that league over and over and over again.

And we simply do not.

We don't have, we don't have the horses, and we also don't choose to approach the game that way.
