Hey everybody, Rob Mauer here, and of course today we are going to be talking about the

announcement of Tesla having a 3-for-1 stock split planned contingent upon a shareholder

vote.

I've also got more information on the 4680 battery sales.

We do have a little bit of news on the, of course, the CPI report that we'll go through

and a couple other items as well.

So looking at the stock first, kind of a rough day with, of course, the CPI coming out this

morning, which we'll talk about, but Tesla down 3.1%, actually outperforming the NASDAQ,

which was down 3.5%, so kind of nice to see that, obviously that can lead to a tougher

day for growth stocks, but Tesla down 3%, closing at $696.69, and then we are up a little

bit after hours here about 1% with the stock split announcement.

So getting into that announcement, Tesla filed their proxy statement for the annual shareholder

meeting, which is of course scheduled to be on August 4th.

We did already know that date.

Tesla does say that this will be an in-person event for a limited number of stockholders.

They also published the link for the shareholder meeting website, which of course the shareholder

meeting will be streamed as well.

So it's hoping that might lead to a little bit more information on how Tesla's deciding

which stockholders are able to attend.

They've done things like raffles in the past, but it looks like that page isn't quite

live yet.

So more to come on that in terms of how that process will work.
