Good morning my friends and welcome back to the morning mindset.

It is time for you and for me to get our minds aligned with the truth of God.

I welcome you if you're new to the morning

mindset. My name is Carrie Green and I am just a brother in Christ here to help you get

your mind aligned for the day with God's truth. It's time for us to dive into the scriptures. We've

been looking at the book of 2 Peter in the New Testament. It's just a few books in

front of the Book of Revelation in the new testament or before the book

of revelation rather and we are diving into chapter two where the apostle

Peter has gone on a deep dive talking about false teachers, what is behind them, what it is they are teaching, why they do it, all those kinds of things and we've been on this for quite some time because Peter has been on it for quite some time.

I mean the entire chapter of chapter 2 is about false teachers and one thing I think that we should

derive from that fact is that Peter saw this as a big deal.

This is not something we should take lightly. It's not something we should start

yawning over because we've seen what he's saying and we get the point yeah yeah

Peter come on let's move ahead this is important stuff or else Peter the

divinely inspired apostle would not have spent so much time talking about it. So let's kind of refocus

ourselves today as we try to wrap up the passage because it's a long section we're going to read.

I want you to just be ready.

There's a lot of imagery in here that Peter's going to use and we need to pay close, close attention.

All right, we are going to dive in to chapter 2, verse number 12 and I'm going to read to the end of the chapter, please pay very close attention.

He says, but these, and he's talking about the false teachers, like irrational animals, creatures of instinct, born to be caught and

destroyed, blaspheming about matters of which they are ignorant,

will also be destroyed in their destruction.
