Good morning my friends and welcome back to the morning mindset.

It's time for us to get ready for the day, to get our minds ready for the day,

because the way we think is the way we're going to live

and getting our minds aligned with the truth of God first thing when we wake up is

essential to us living on the right trajectory.

Think about a trajectory, like an arrow that shot from a bow.

The trajectory is the direction that arrow is headed.

And we've got to be pointed in the right direction if we're going to hit the right target.

Amen. So that's what getting our minds aligned with the truth of God enables us to do.

We are wrapping up the book of 2 2 Peter this week. We are in 2

Peter chapter 3 verse number 15 today so if you have the opportunity to get out a

2 Peter, chapter 3, verse 15 says,

and count the patience of our Lord as salvation.

Just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you according to the wisdom given him.

Now let's stop for a moment. I just love this verse. I love that Peter refers to Paul.

We hear their two names quite often in the church as we're studying the New Testament or as we're hearing sermons because they were

two of the primary figures in the beginnings or the birth of the new church.

They were both leaders in the church and they were very different leaders.

One of them, Peter, primarily speaking to Jewish believers and the other Paul

primarily speaking to non Jewish believers or they were called Gentiles in that day.
