Good morning my friends, good afternoon, good evening, whatever time of day it is for

you as you're listening. You know that's one of the beautiful things about

podcast is they allow us to listen when we're able

to listen and whatever time of day it is for you I welcome you to the morning mindset.

I'm glad that you're here I truly am and I want to dig in right away to 2

Peter chapter 2 by way of an illustration for my own experience. You see when my

wife and I were first married I was was just in love. I just wanted to be married. I didn't have a career

established. I didn't even have a clear career path ahead. I just knew that I loved this woman and I didn't want her to get away.

And so in my youthfulness, I just proposed, we got married,

and looking back, there was no mistake there we just were meant to be

together the Lord had ordained us for each other and it's been a great life but I

had to scramble to figure out how am I as the man in the house can do my part to provide for the family.

I still had a year of school left and I had to figure this thing out.

Well one of the things I did as soon as I finished schooling was I got a full-time job and that was

in a bank.

So I was working first of all as a bank teller and then secondly after that I was moved into new accounts and some

of the customer service roles in the bank and one of the things perhaps you've heard

a story like this before and I'm here to tell you

this morning it's absolutely true one of the things they did to help us spot

counterfeit money and this is back in the day before there were all these security measures that were actually built into the bills to help you notice it more quickly, you know, like at a at a convenience store, you see the person market with a little fluorescent looking pen and they'll hold it up to the light to make sure that they can see certain security features.

None of that existed back then.

So they were giving us ways to tell a counterfeit
