All right, so we're going to open a brand new book of the Bible today.

We're in 2nd Peter, New Testament, and we looked at 1st Peter.

We just finished it last week and it's going to take us four weeks to go through 2nd Peter.

Peter is the leader of the disciples, hand selected by Jesus,

and in his first letter he told them and us

in chapter one, you're suffering various trials.

So think of all the trials that we're all going through,

financial, economic, spiritual,

relational, personal, emotional.

By chapter 4 of 1st Peter, he peered into the future
