Welcome to the Not Old Better Show, I'm Paul Vogel-Sang and this is episode number 298.

As regular returning audience of the Not Old Better show, we are announcing something very special for you, a new series titled The Beacon Monthly.

With over 67 million people listening to podcasts weekly, we know there are many in our audience

of over age 55 individuals who are voracious consumers of

podcasts in recent years. Podcasts are almost perfectly engineered for the way we

live now, teaching and entertaining us in our spare moments walking, working out,

making dinner driving, gardening, or simply relaxing at home. As you've

probably noticed, most podcasts are awfully similar.

Two to four people sitting around discussing something for a wandering hour,

or the brand of a long-form storytelling by many many and many of these are very good

but many of us don't always have the time long podcasts demand. We need podcasts

that interest and enrich us quickly that don't just help us occupy our idle time but make the best of it.

And so, I'm delighted to announce our newest podcast with The Beacon newspaper titled, as I've said, The Beacon Monthly.

Our new The Beacon Monthly will be masterfully concise, led by the publisher of the Beacon Newspapers,

Stuart Rosenthal. And I'll join in too, but specifically

aimed at helping you get smart fast.

The monthly series will focus on the upcoming issue of the Beacon newspaper from the perspective of publisher

Stuart Rosenthal. Many hundreds of thousands read the Beacon each month and the four editions of the paper feature award-winning content of health,

finance, technology, housing, travel, and the arts topics all focused on our 55-plus-age audience.

The Beacon has been a trusted resource since 1989, is family run, and the Beacon plays

an important role reporting on senior trends and interests as journalistic authority.
