And we are here to do a live preview for our special deep dive into the Avengers.

You know, months ago, Steve and I came up with this idea to tackle these Marvel movies.

And we promised you we would tackle them to get us up to date with all the Marvel movies

so that going forward, we will be tackling them within the 10-year timeframe with which

they came out.

And the Avengers was the last one that we had to do.

And now we're starting part one this week on the Sun of Files, right, Steve?

That's true.

And John, we've already actually recorded a good section of part one and man, it's already

great conversation about a movie that both of us have these really strange mixed feelings

about, I think.

Absolutely.

And I think that's what's great looking back on a film from that time, considering how

far the MCU has come, especially over the last 10 years, and you might think, oh, 10

years in a genre, is that really a lot?

Well, judging from the quality you're getting back then to the quality we're getting now,

and the expansive nature of the universe, it's pretty incredible to think of the seeds

we're all being planted in this Avengers movie.

And actually, what an incredible achievement it actually was in the history of cinema, Steve.
