Thank you for such a warm welcome.

Well, you know, I always like to hear what was happening in the bad old days.

Well, if you don't mind, I would actually love to start with our good old days, you know,

how we did come to be married, because it's quite a miraculous story.

And so our marriage began very powerfully.

I had been dating this man and I had decided it wasn't going to work. I had my reasons, my little checklist. And so I kind of wrote that off. I switched my focus. I'm like, okay, you know, God's always been important to me. I just want to love him. I want to

serve him. I want to go wherever, do whatever that he wants me to do. And I very intentionally

prayed just a few little words, God, I'm willing. Whatever, I'm willing. And then I just kind of left it like that.

Well, unbeknownst to me, this man I'd been dating starts having these series of dreams.

And in the night, someone is calling his name.

But he gets up, he was living with his parents at the time.

He got up, you know, he'd look, nobody's calling him. And so he'd go back to bed, close his eyes, go back to sleep. And again, he'd hear this. And it went on like three times. He's like, what in the world is going on? And so he's like, oh, oh, that story I read. that story I read in the Bible, this happened to a guy.

And what did he say?

It's like, okay, speak Lord for your servant hears.

So he says that out loud.
