Welcome in, everyone, to this week's edition of the Deer Hunter podcast Friday, May 5th.

And I am bringing you what might be the last podcast here from the 1973 airstream out of the state forests of northern Michigan.

I officially just recorded two minutes of audio, not noticing that my recording device was not

even connected to my computer.

So I'm glad I caught that at two minutes in and not 20 minutes in but take two and we're

going to do this for real this time so it's going to be a little bit of a shortened episode here

this week I'm going to talk I'm going to recap a little bit of my scouting efforts here over the

course of the last couple weeks talk a little current events here with me.

My wife and I officially closed on the purchase of our new home for our family here.

So that happened this past Friday.

Just huge relief, huge weight off my shoulders. pretty much the last technical piece of the puzzle

to seal the deal on the family relocating.

And my wife came up last weekend and we signed those papers.

And we did a little bit, we did a little celebration there on Friday and Saturday and then we got

we got going back right at it on Sunday so I still have to move I have to move all our belongings

got to get that figured out but but my days here in the extended stay camping trip are numbered.
