And with me today is Will. I'm very concerned about you and your voice. You've been doing a lot of talking lately.

Yeah, who knew my voice would be the thing that makes me money?

I mean, I record. This is my third podcast I'm recording this week and I'm like at 1% of the amount of chatter you've thrown out into the internet.

Yeah, I keep talking. I haven't run out of things to say, but I'm maybe out. Oh, no, you ran out of things to say a long time ago, but you do keep talking.

Oh, okay. Yeah, that's fair to the tour. This is a weird episode because my current schedule got all flipped, flipped, flopped last minute will get to that.

But no, Michelle and no, Al, of course, because this is we're recording this at 8 p.m. on a Saturday night. Normally we record about noon on Sundays,

but we can't do that for this week and next week explain why in a second. Also, I don't even know what time it is in London, not London. I don't know. I said London, just because I think of like the London time zone, where they like plus or minus eight, I think.

No, I think for me, it's plus five. So it'd be about 2 a.m. There we go. Yeah. And plus Al has a kid. He has to get up early, go to bed early.

And for shell works on what we're shell works nights. So the 12 p.m. Central time on Sunday is perfect for all of us, but 8 p.m. is perfect for just will and I.

Well, anytime is perfect for me, but we were going to get Logan on spoiler. We were supposed to get Logan on, but something came up tonight. We could not get Logan on.

So we're going to try to shoot to get Logan on next week, because I think we're going to be under the same gun for recording next week, which is fine.

The thing here is we are going to talk about some Pokemon news and then we're just going to tackle a little bit of emails and we're going to call it a show.

Like Will said, I've been doing a lot of talking recently, which is fine.

All right, let's start with some news.

First bit of news is the 2018 Japanese championships to be held on June 9th and June 10th. I know we have a couple of Japanese listeners.

It will be held at the Makaru IMSA convention center outside Tokyo, Japan.

As in previous years, the tournaments will feature three tournaments. One is the core video game series using Pokemon, Ultrason and Ultramune, one for the training card game and one for poke and tournament.

As much as I like, don't like poke and tournament. It's cool that it has like stuck around as a staple for the last couple of years.

Yeah, I mean, they've they've well now that you've got poke and DX, right? It still has some legitimacy and people like fighting games.

I not me, but some people.

The competition will award high ranking players in the ability any tournament, the ability to go to the 2018 World Championships, which were announced in Nashville, Tennessee.
