Hi guys, so the topic of this episode is trust. Broken trust, second

chances and spinning things around on you. There's so many ways to break a

person's trust, but in this episode I'm primarily coming from the angle of lying

and cheating. So like I say, there's so many relationship issues that people can

have, but the one type of issue that causes the most problems and hurt is

broken trust. Why? Well, because once trust is broken, things just don't

go back to how they were. If someone breaks your trust, it makes you question

everything going forward. It creates doubt. It makes you second-guess. It makes

you suspicious, and it causes a lot of resentment. Also, whatever this person did

to break your trust, well, usually that gets brought up in every argument going

forward. So all that said, it should be easy to let go of someone when they

break your trust, right? Well, the problem is, is when you are all caught up in

someone and have feelings for them, it can be really difficult to just walk away,

or maybe you're super dependent on them or don't have much of a social circle

outside of them. So then you hang on because you don't want to be alone. Or you

stay because you tell yourself that you don't want to start over, or you simply

just want to avoid the pain of the breakup. And yada yada yada. That's that. If

you're dating someone you can't trust, there's no foundation for a relationship.
