And I thought, what a great opportunity to talk to my listeners about how to fix their finances as a form of self-care

because absolutely what do you think of that i think you are spot on i think your savings account

should be part of your self-care it really should i think as women were brought up to let men lead

whether it's your dad providing for you, your boyfriend,

your husband, spouse, or whoever. And not enough of us, including myself, are in charge of our

finances. Like, there's a division of labor in families where women get the children, the household,

the, you know, keeping things beautiful, and then the men do the finances, the taxes, the credit

cards, the, I mean, speaking in stereotypical terms, but don't you find that to be true? Absolutely,

I find that to be true. I actually wanted to break that mold when I was younger. I thought, no,

I will always handle my own finances. And fortunately, I'm married to my husband, who's okay with me

handling my part of the finances. And, you know, we can handle everything else together. But I,

I firmly believe that as a woman, you need to have your feet well planted on the floor and make sure

you know where your future, whether it be with your family, God forbid something happened,

that you can maintain your family, you know, on your own as well.
