He is the pastor to engaged in seriously dating couples at Watermark Community Church in Dallas, Texas.

In his role, Scott has counseled over 5,000 couples, dating, engaged, and newly married, and he helps them navigate tough conversations and ultimately helps them build a marriage on the foundation that never fails, the unchanging word of God.

Scott has put all that experience into a book with a clever title, Ready or Not, K-N-O-T,

and we'll link to that book on our podcast page.

In my conversation with Scott today, I'm going to ask him about how the dating landscape

has changed over the last decade.

Couples are coming into marriage with fewer healthy role models and more sexual baggage and

temptation than ever before.

So how has that changed the way the church needs to disciple them?

How do we help couples embrace the goodness and freedom of marriage and sexuality while filtering

out the cultural

messages that tell us in marriage is only about making us happy.

You have four sons. I have three sons. So you're in the midst of ministry, not just outside of
