Hey, all. Welcome to peak shade. It's very pain here. Aaron's taken a little break this week. I'm much deserved one. So we're wishing her a nice little break from life this week.

I am here today with our friend Mandy Sluttsger of the podcast. Is this real life with Mandy Sluttsger? And it's the cutest little emoji she has for her podcast art.

Mandy lives here in my area in DC. I've been to her cute apartment. I'm always like single girl apartment. I want one so bad and with her cute dog, Stasi. So Mandy, what's up, girl? Oh my god, you're welcome at my apartment anytime.

Welcome over and hide. All right, let me ask you really quick. Just as I said that, I was like, I need to ask her about her dog, Stasi. How do you feel about your dog, Stasi? Now that Stasi sort of got canceled. I still like Stasi. I know she's canceled. And that we're probably never see her again. But how do you feel about your dog being named Stasi?

I know. The Stasi. It just suits her. She is a little white bitch, you know, although my dog's passing has become quite defiant lately. She's gotten a little bit more protective of me. I've been going through some egg freezing procedures. And when my home levels get high, she acts totally crazy to the point that it's like completely unruly. She barks at all of these other dogs. And she never had done that before.

So we're actually going to start working with the trainer this afternoon to try and get her sort of sorted in that department. That is so weird. Do you think it's like it's like she smells your fair amounts or whatever?

It took me a long time to make the connection. But, you know, one of my neighbors was like, why is she so wild? She was fine last week.

I was like, I started the injections again. And then other dogs started acting super weird around me at the dog's fork. Yes, they like form a little like.

They like guard me. They like stand around me. They don't want other outside dogs to come close to me. It's super strange.

Can anyone else can listeners can people weigh in? Has anyone else ever gone through a situation where they're either pregnant or going through IVF where their dog has changed behavior?

That is fascinating.

But I bet the trainer will know. Violet baby girl Violet is going to have to have a little training next week.

I mean, you know, all all the dogs in the world are all about to be real depressed when people go back to work.

I'm going to be thrilled when everybody in my house gets the F out of here. But Violet is going to freak because she used to have it.

My husband who takes her on two three walks a day. And you know, the kids just at any moment will come up or down from their homeschooling depending on where they are and play with her.

They give her like five minutes and then she's ramped up and then they leave her with me. But so that's another problem that your dog is having right is that you're always there all the time.

And it's going to be a big problem when we all have to go go somewhere, you know, luckily, Stasi still goes to daycare.

Even though I'm working from home because she is so hyper that my vet told me like you need to find outlets for her.

So during the week she goes to a doggy daycare and then on the weekend, we usually go on hikes and long walks and just things to exhaust her because the level of energy that this dog has is just I've never seen it.

Okay, my dog is not that my dog.

Violet takes a couple of real good naps every day. She gets up in the morning, does her business and comes back in and sleeps for another hour and a half.

She's like, she's like, I did not want to get up at seven, but I had to pay. So I'm going to ribax. I'll see you at 10. I mean, she that's how she is.
