On my mind, no surprise, is identity theft and the big data breach at Equifax. And all that's going to happen with that, it's slippery slope.

It's that whole idea of the date is all out there. Your Social Security number certainly isn't

protected.

It's nothing secure at all.

Data is so easily accessible.

And then even when it's supposedly not that easily accessible,

it seems that we're hearing about these breaches

more and more.

So one naturally asks what to do.

A while ago on one of the podcasts,

I had an identity theft expert on and I was actually curious and wanted to know is one of these

monitoring solutions worth it. Apparently Equifax will give you their free monitoring service for some period of time.

And then I don't really like the fact that it's kind of like, oh, and then pay for it afterward.

And we're the company that caused it and we're providing it for free but hoping that maybe you'll stick around

after I don't know that something about that's off so we were talking about that you

hear about life lock or different companies that do this identity monitoring and this expert that I had on his name

escapes me at the moment but he basically said this and this is the takeaway for

today's little podcast he said if you're worried about

identity theft in in particular it's people taking out loans in your name
