Oh, so plenty to talk about today will be discussing week one of the stama regime,

Joe Biden's leadership challenges and the huge electoral upset in France.

About a week ago we had the UK general election,

massive landslide for Kiastama, as everyone I'm sure is aware by now.

There's been a lot of talk about how a certain amount of calm and peace and stability has descended on the country.

So much so in fact that Lisa Nandie, Starmer's culture secretary, has been able to declare an end to the

Cultural.

What have you made of that?

Now that was an interesting intervention.

So when she went to DCMS to the Culture Department, she spoke to staff and said the era of culture wars are over.

That's very much been the kind of narrative I suppose in the media more broadly was

that we've gone through this period of crazy Tories inventing these issues out of whole cloth so as to you know excite the

daily mail and to distract from their otherwise failure so it very much played into that but it was such an odd thing for certainly Lisa Nandid today given the fact that she was a pretty

unrepentant culture warrior on and certainly the gender issue. She even said to a gender

critical campaign at one point, point blank that she would happily put a child rapist in a women's

prison.
