Summary

When we've lost our way, or are trying to find True North in our lives, the Tarot can be a beautiful tool to help us sense into our way again. But there is no deeper, clearer, finer compass in the Tarot than the Pages: four gloriously potent anchors that can assist us in coming home to the root of our heart, soul, and self.

In today's episode, we discuss The Pages from a Soul Tarot perspective, looking at how they present themselves as sacred compasses, and how they occupy a very important role in the flow of the Minor Arcana from Ace to King.

Hello, loves, and welcome back to the podcast. So, so

excited to be gathered here with you as always. Thank you so much for gathering here with me.

I'm very excited to kind of present this week's episode to you. It's been something that's been sort of

0:38.7

circling around my heart and mind really forever, but especially, uh, it's certainly not, um,

0:46.2

a topic that I haven't taught or, um, you know, dug into on this podcast and in various other places. But this idea of sacred compasses

1:00.6

in the terra, right? And really, the bottom line is any card, every card is a sacred compass. Just that's

1:10.3

flat out. That's a full stop period. But I think that there is one

1:15.6

particular area of the tarot that shines forth just a little bit more brightly, a little bit more

1:23.8

consistently than any other. And of course, this is all subjective because the

1:27.5

tarot is a, you know, bespoke practice and everyone will have their own take. So, you know,

1:35.0

take what works and leave what doesn't. But I really think that place, one of the deepest,

1:41.6

deepest, deepest root systems of the tarot in terms of sacred compasses

1:49.4

are the pages. And so we're going to talk about them from that framework. This is also an honor of

1:55.5

my teaching an extremely special workshop this coming Saturday, this coming Saturday on May 17th from

2:09.1

2 to 4 p.m. Pacific Standard called Compass Current Cove Contributor. Working with the court cards

2:16.8

as anchors and helpers to embody our deepest

2:19.5

longing. So if you've known me and my work for a while, you know that I don't present or

2:26.0

teach the court cards from the perspective of them being representative of other people

2:30.6

as a rule, right? Perfectly fine, if that's your relationship with them. First of all,
