Hello, sweet loves, and welcome back to the podcast. So, so delighted

to be gathered here with you. Thank you so much for gathering here with me. It's a joy to be

present with you. And it's a joy to answer this question today while I'm simultaneously sort of holding a hand to my heart

because it's a really, really tender one. And yet profoundly universal, something that I think

every single one of us has experienced at one time or another either in life or in our taro practice

or our spiritual practices or both. And this is, what do you do? How do you handle it when you

feel that you have been betrayed by God, by guides, by higher self, by our cards. So this question comes from an absolutely

lovely member of my Three of Cups community, who would prefer to remain anonymous, and this

is their question. I'm going to read it. I've not experienced anything like this before.

I'm feeling massively untethered, tricked, betrayed,

and it feels like turning to spiritual practices for support

will just lead to more betrayal and hurt.

Essentially, I did a tarot spread for myself about something

that I was afraid to get my hopes up about,

but it seemed like my cards slash my guides were pointing to it being a very positive experience. 10 of cups,

ace of swords, ace of wants, ace of cups, the star of the sun, nine of pentacles, you know,

the quote, good cards. It ended up being a very painful experience, one where I regret it,

because it ended in a lot

of disappointment and misalignment, and ultimately I had to break my own heart in order to stay
