This week we had Eric Weinmeer. He's just an incredible individual. He climbed Mount Everest and the seven summits.

Oh, and he's blind. He's completely blind. He had to train for this and go with other people who could see.

But imagine this is such a treacherous thing and basically people are telling him, okay, you're clippin' in. All right, this is where you're walk.

I mean, just unreal amount of training and focus and dedication. And then of course, as if that weren't enough.

He kayaked the Grand Canyon, which is one of the most treacherous whitewater environments on earth.

And then he brings a bunch of blind teenagers up Everest as well, which is just freaking phenomenal.

I mean, it's just an amazing guy. I love the conversation.

We also had my friend, Oxey Nanavati, who this guy speaking of punishing yourself, Oxey literally is just punishing himself.

He runs across Africa, sends me voice messages on WhatsApp while he's huffin' across Liberia in the middle of a desert,

jogging 100 miles in the heat. He's been a week in complete darkness and complete silence, which is literal torture.

Him and I had a very interesting conversation about how we shouldn't run from our demons, but face them as directly as possible.

And that's a, he's just on another level. I also write every so often on the blog.

The latest post is about flakiness. Why you should do what you say you will. Why it's actually bad for you and bad for your psyche to be flaky.

It's a little counterintuitive. Something in here for those of us who are guilty of flaking on plans and for those of us who would never do such a thing, of course.
