Summary

Greek Mythology is as messy as it gets. It all started when the Earth started sleeping with Uranus. I’m not kidding. This kicked off a series of wars, incestuous marriages, sea monsters, and of course Circe. Circe, the daughter of the Titan of the Sun, thought she was born without any powers but then she fell in love with a mortal. A human. She goes on a deadly journey to turn him into a Greek God. One she can marry. But how does the saying go? Give an ugly guy a chance and he thinks he rules the world. Welcome to the Greek world of betrayal, sex, and drama. because here's the thing with me. If I love a book and I would say Cersei is probably in my top

0:37.2

five best books of all time in my lifetime that I have ever read and I've read quite a bit of books.

0:43.3

That's crazy. I freaking love it and for some reason when I love a book I feel like it's

0:47.4

going to vanish from the face of the earth. One day I'm going to lose my Kindle account or one day

0:51.8

Kindle's going to go down. Maybe, maybe one day I don't like to listen to books anymore. I got

to read them. I just need to have it somewhere. I need to have it locked away in a safe. So Cersei, it's...

let me just beat this real quick. I am so sorry for the audio listeners.

1:09.6

Do you guys like Greek mythology? This is also the book that set me on a Greek mythology hype.

1:14.7

Why do you hate Greek mythology? That's what I thought too because all of the names are so

1:18.4

difficult to pronounce. Everything just sounds so complicated. All these places and you know,

1:23.6

I am ashamed to say when I was younger. I thought Greek mythology was true. Listen, I didn't know.

1:29.2

I didn't know any better. So when did you find out? I don't remember the exact moment but probably

1:34.5

when I went to church and they were like, let's just replace that story with a different one.

1:40.8

And then I grew up and then and then I decided I'm going to replace both stories with a different one
