Hello, everybody. And the three of us are here convening this sort of ad hoc meeting of the book club to talk about Patrick Roffice's debut fantasy novel from 2007.

So, you know, we're a little bit behind the time, I guess.

It's hot off the presses.

The Name of the Wind.

And part of the reason we're talking about it now is that the book's sequel, The Wise Man's Fear, just came out, oh, what, two weeks ago or so?

All right.

So we're here to sort of wet your appetite.

If you have not read this series, well, be aware that there are going to have some spoilers from the first book.

We're going to try to avoid spoilers from the second book.

We haven't all finished reading it.

I think Scott's finished it.

I'm about halfway through.

John, how about you?
