But first, let's get to that top story of the morning.

The FBI is in very hot water after falsely claiming last Wednesday that former President

Donald Trump was not hit by a bullet just weeks ago during that assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania.

To be fair, the FBI director is now backtracking, saying on Friday that actually Trump was hit by a bullet but it certainly begs the question

as to why Director Christopher Ray spread that misinformation in the first place.

Before we get to that let's start with a little bit of context for why the story is creating so much

buzz and outrage across the country.
