And it's an easy expression. I know it means are you finished yet are you finished are you complete are you done okay so for example let's say you want to make some photocopies at the office, but somebody else is using the copy machine.

So after a couple of minutes, you could go back and ask the person, are you done yet?

Are you finished yet? And of course, the nuance is,

can I use the copy machine? Okay. So I think most ESL students would want to say, are you finished? Are you

finished? Are you finished yet? But I think, I don't know,

I think in America, most Americans just say, are you done yet? Are you done yet? And get that

pronunciation. Are you done yet? Are you? Don't let your tongue touch anywhere.

It's not Adia, Adia, Adia, Adia, no.
