Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, 20 idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, 21 envy,[d] drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do[e] such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

| 1:34.9 | We're to follow his guidance when those opportunities come up. |
| 1:39.5 | And when we don't, Paul says we are acting according to the flesh and the flesh is Paul's way of saying |
| 1:47.6 | that there's this sinful residue of habits and behavior that clings to this fleshly body that we are still in. |
| 1:55.4 | You see our spirit is new, our soul is new, but we still have this fleshly body that |
| 2:01.7 | contains remains of sin. |
| 2:05.0 | And it infects us, so to speak. |
