1998 to talk about one of our favorite films

Rounders. This film directed by John Dahl, stars Matt Damon, Edward Norton, Gretchen Moll, John Totoro, the great Martin Landau, and in one of the most iconic

performances for better or worse depending on your point of view, John Malcolmich as Teddy KGB.

This fantastic small independent film tells the story of Mike McDermott who was a young reformed gambler who must return to playing big stakes poker to help a friend pay off loan sharks

That's a friend named Worm. That's who Edward Norton plays while balancing his relationship with his girlfriend. That's Gretchen Moll and his commitments to law school where Martin Landau's character is teaching

Mike McDermott. This film put the hook in me so good from the trailer that I walked 28 blocks in London to go see this film with some random theater

Way on the outskirts of the city where I was staying and I knew I had to see it because at the time

I also was confronted with this idea of should I play it safe or should I ante up and really become an actor?

And I remember this film has always been an iconic film for me to go back and revisit because it opened up so many things in my mind

To the possibilities of a different future. Steve and I are going to explore this thing over two parts
