0:06.1	toward spring and I couldn't be more excited. I have to remind myself that this is the time of
0:12.3	year when everything seems possible, all the dreams we allow ourselves to hope again,
0:18.0	especially if we've had less than stellar experiences in the past because it's a
0:22.7	brand new, clean slate for the garden. And if you're a beginning gardener or a first-time gardener,
0:28.9	you have all these amazing ideas of what your garden can be like this year. But maybe alongside that,
0:35.9	there's a little bit of trepidation because there's a lot of
0:39.0	unknowns. Whether you're an experienced gardener and you're like, okay, what's Mother Nature going to
0:44.4	throw at us this year? Or maybe you're a first time gardener and you don't know what to expect one way or the
0:50.4	other. That's why I thought today would be a good time to do a discussion on why
0:55.5	gardens fail. And the reason why I think it's important to talk about this now is because I want to
1:01.9	plant some seeds in your mind, no pun intended, for you to think about as we go through this garden season
1:09.0	and as you do hit snags and as things don't go the way you
1:13.4	expected because they won't all go the way you want but by understanding why gardens fail you can get a
1:21.4	leg up and hopefully not be blindsided and instead know what you're going to do to move through those snags that you
1:29.3	hit in the garden season so that your garden will not be one that fails. Welcome, I'm Jill
