Hey you guys, so glad to have you tuning in today. We are approaching the end of what seems to me to be the longest month of the year. Do you feel that way about January? I certainly do. For me, I am done with winter and I am ready for spring. And with that comes in itching to get started planting. Something. Is there anything I can plant?

Well, maybe.

This is a big question that I get this time of year over and over and over again,

and that is when can I plant this plant or that plant?

When can I start seeds indoors?

Or when can I sow seeds directly in the ground? And while those

are the right questions to ask, a lot of times what you will find if you do any kind of searching on

when to plant what, you'll find a very simplistic answer. Maybe you'll find charts. And I think that

there's value in those charts.

But they are just a starting point. And there are other factors that we need to consider as we're deciding when we're going

to plant, or even if the day comes that we think we want to plant, that we need to double

check to make sure, okay, is this actually the right time right now? Considering the

weather this year, considering different nuances in your climate or just a few other things

that don't really get talked about enough. Because it's very important to plan. It's very important

to get dates on the calendar of when to plant what. And I'm going to be talking to you a lot more about

how to do that but today we're going to talk about some factors that are also involved
