Summary

I share a powerful philosophy that has transformed my approach to personal growth and decision-making: we learn by doing.

Hear examples of how learning by doing can help you navigate this chapter with greater ease and resilience, and how to apply this mindset to your journey as a widow to create the life you desire.

Hey there, welcome to another episode of the podcast.

Just had the best group of widows to my house

0:40.3

on Saturday. And it was amazing. It's called coaching on the couch. I've been doing it. I think this was our

0:46.8

fourth or fifth time to do it. And it was Mom Goes On members from all over who came to my little town.

0:56.2

It's not that little, but feels little probably, considering where other people are from.

1:37.8

And there's a couple of people who couldn't make it, which was sad at the last minute didn't work out. So we missed them. So if you were one of those

1:44.6

people, we missed you. So that's what's been going on in my world. Also, I'm doing another training,

1:51.2

an integrative hypnosis training, which is the second training I've done with this particular

1:55.7

teacher. And she is just amazing. Her name is Melissa Tears. And, you know, my primary work probably won't be as a hypnotist,

2:03.9

but I do think that hypnosis can have some powerful impacts and learning how to use the tools

2:09.1

that Melissa teaches is pretty dang cool and fun. And I just like learning. So that's been fun too.
