I don't believe the solution to our problems will come from the political arena.

They may be delivered through that arena in the same way that help with COVID can be delivered

through the scientific arena or the medical community.

I'm grateful for all of those expressions of authority when they're done in a godly way.

But if we continue this rather nonsensical idea that when we gather as Christ followers that

we shouldn't talk about what's happening in our world and try to understand our faith

through that filter, then we leave faith out of those solutions and I don't want to leave

God out of those solutions.

We understand battles on Earth,

we know about tanks and planes and missiles and bombs and weapons and those things.

I think it's unfortunate, but in the church amongst the people of God

we're much less comfortable or familiar or at ease or at home even with a discussion
