The next few weeks on the podcast, we're going to look at some of Jesus's most well-known teaching,

the lost and found parables in the gospel of Luke.

Think about how disappointing or discouraging it is to lose something important to you.

Now think about how happy and relieved you are when you find it.

You celebrate, right?

Well, if you rejoice when a precious item is returned to you,

just imagine the celebration that takes place in the heart of God

when His children return to Him.

These are challenging days in which we live, days of much transition, days of much anxiety and trauma.

We turn our attention to one of the great chapters in the Bible to help us

recenter ourselves on the fundamentals of the gospel.

Luke chapter 15, I encourage you to read the chapter every day

to see what the Holy Spirit might be saying to you.

It's the story of lost, it's the story of found, and it's the story of what happens

when we go from the first to the second.

If you've ever been lost, all of us have at one time or another.

If so, you can relate to the story of a certain fellow who got lost

as he was driving to the cemetery.

He had a side hustle, a part-time job of singing at cemetery graveyard services.
