Today we are going to be talking about when someone is in active addiction,

how that impacts the people around them,

the people they come into contact with. So imagine being a young woman who gets involved with an older

man who dazzles her. I know I didn't make great choices when I was in my 20s and I really

didn't make good choices about the men I dated. I dated a lot of

men in active addiction. Imagine that you get pregnant by that man, and despite promising that he would

stand by you, he in fact abandons you and denies paternity. Imagine that man gets sober, remarries,

and his whole family pretends that you and your child don't exist.

And imagine that that man is the son of the most powerful man on earth. Today we're going to hear
