This is the Baimal Podcast with Marty Solomon. I'm his co-host, Brent Billings. Today, I'm joined by Josh Bosse, to discuss spiritual leadership and the conversations with Jesus in the Temple Courts at the Festival of Dedication.

John Tan, we're going to be wrapping up the chapter today. But first, Josh, you have some news that you want to share.

I do, and unfortunately it's not very good news, but I'll just rip the bandaid off. So I have cancer, and I shouldn't laugh when I say that, but it's, you know, what can you do? But laugh.

I've had serious health problems since I was a kid, so this isn't something that came totally out of the blue, but yeah, back in October, we had some normal tests that I have to get performed every once in a while to check on my health. We found some weird looking cells.

And I'm very thankful for all my doctors here in Cincinnati. They sent us over to the Mayo Clinic. It's been taking great care of us. Just got back from undergoing some chemo and radiation, but Mayo is able to confirm that I have a biodec cancer, and you know, it's not great news, obviously, but

for those of you who don't know, biodec cancer is notorious for being very, very difficult to diagnose, and usually they don't catch it until it's way too late to do anything about.

So it's kind of miraculous that we even caught it this early, and, and Mayo is an incredible place.

You know, we, we rag on Western civilization, a lot here, but I am extremely thankful for all our advances in medical technology and stuff like that.

So it's been, it's been a journey. And right now we're just waiting on a new liver. I'm going to be going through a liver transplant up at the Mayo Clinic, and it's quite a process.

So I wanted to share this with everyone one because, you know, if you're on the Bay Moist Slack or reach out to me, I may take a little longer than normal to get back.

I've got a lot going on in my life right now, but I still love being a part of Bay Moist and being a part of Slack.

It's something that gave me a lot of life and a lot of strength, especially going through chemo and radiation.

So please don't stop those questions from coming. I really enjoyed that. In fact, I think this teaching is something I wrote when we were undergoing chemo and radiation.

But anyway, I've really what I would like to say to the audiences, like, you know, please be praying for me.

There's a lot of stuff going on. It's a complicated, difficult process. And you can actually follow my journey at a website. We've got set up over at caringbridge.com.

My wife, you'll get to know her a little bit better. She writes a lot of updates about our journey and what's going on. So you can be praying for specific things.

And you can also send us encouraging notes, stuff like that that really meant a lot to me when I was going through the chemo and radiation.

You know, I you can always go to impact the U.com and support my ministry. You know, there's definitely some new expenses that are going on with, with a transplant lots of new medications and procedures and stuff like that. And, anyway, we would just appreciate whatever support you need.

We've already been overwhelmed really by the support that we've gotten. And it's been really beautiful process and learning to rest in whole new ways.
