an entity by the bed, and a little girl getting attacked by a shadow person in a closet.

And now, let's begin with our first experience of the night, which comes to us from Jackie.

And Jackie says, Hey, Nick, I hope you are doing well. I enjoy your podcast and I really look

forward to listening to it weekly. After listening to it for quite some time, I decided that I wanted

to submit one of my many experiences. For as long as I can remember, I have had paranormal experiences,

since my childhood home was haunted, till now that I am 27 with three kids and happily married.

The story I will share today is regarding my current present experiences, but I have to add a

few details about myself in order to explain the situation better. I am originally from the valley

which is south of Texas. My father is from Mexico and my mother was born in the valley as well.

In our Mexican culture, we have many different beliefs and one of them is known as the evil eye,

or El Maldé Ojo. It is believed that a person can pass off negative energy to someone due to

many reasons. This negative energy can be inflicted by jealousy, malice, or even adoration.

The person that picks up that negative energy can become very ill.

The remedy consists of taking a raw, whole egg and rubbing it all over the person that was

affected. While you are performing this remedy, you must say a prayer. Once you are finished,

you place the egg in a glass with water. The eye will then appear on the egg if the person was

indeed affected. Sometimes the egg will even cook itself if the negative energy is very strong,

or if it is more than just that. There is much more to this, but I hope that this is enough so
