0:55.1 | sadness can be a normal experience. It can occur as a result of loss, loneliness, hormones, |
1:03.1 | childhood experiences, lack of sleep, life changes. I mean, there are so many reasons why |

1:13.3 | for no really obvious reason. I know for me sadness used to feel super uncomfortable and I often |
1:20.4 | tried to ignore it or mask it with distracting activities or potentially unhelpful coping mechanisms |
1:27.1 | like shopping or drinking alcohol. |
1:29.9 | I found it very difficult to acknowledge I feel sad today and to just let that feeling be there. |
1:36.6 | But that's a huge lesson I've learned over the last couple of years. |
